Johnny

Founder & Outdoor Enthusiast

Meet our founder

Founder's Story

Growing up in Beijing, China, Johnny spent his university years in Düsseldorf, Germany, where his passion for mountaineering, camping and adventure truly took root. For years he was a heavy-haul hiker, carrying dozens of kilos of gear up and down mountains, only to realise the weight of his pack kept him from truly enjoying the scenery along the way.

Lighter Camp

Our hope is simple: that every outdoor lover, no matter their experience level or physical strength, can travel light and enjoy the relaxed, healing calm of camping and hiking without pressure. Because the outdoors was always meant to be about unwinding, not enduring.
